Linus Farm is a small farm located in the Bridger Mountains in Montana at 5,240 feet / 1,597 meters elevation. The land is farmed biodynamically and solely by hand and foot.
Over 400 varieties of flowering plants are grown, focusing on research into rare, lost and heirloom varieties.
Seeding and tending plants happens in accordance with the lunar calendar (Flower, Fruit, Leaf and Root days), cow horns are filled and buried with quartz and local manure, crops are rotated, biodynamic preparations are applied, and synthetic inputs are avoided at all costs.
This year two sheep were added from a neighboring farm. They will be grazing the land, controlling invasive grasses to help re-establish native prairie, creating defensible space from forest fires and fertilizing the soil, as well as continuing a long tradition of sheep ranching in Bridger Canyon. Ivan Doig chronicled in his Montana memoirs how the seasonal rhythms of herding, grazing and moving flocks through these mountains formed the backbone of life here for much of the 20th century. Today they are rarely seen in the area.
The farm was started in memory of Samuel Linus Gromann, a dear friend who lost his life to suicide.

From Tuesdays - Saturdays we have fresh flowers available daily at Mischa’s for pick up. If you prefer for us to make a custom bouquet for you for pick up or delivery you can order it here!
Every bouquet is thoughtfully arranged and hand tied with flowers from our farm, where we grow over 400 varieties of flowering plants. Each bouquet is hyper seasonal, showcasing the blooms of the week at their prime. We harvest our flowers early morning when it’s cool and take utmost care to hydrate them properly to improve their vase life. With the proper care they can last over a week.
All bouquet packaging materials are biodegradable.

For summer 2026 we are offering a limited number of flower subscriptions. The High Summer Flower Subscription will run for 6 consecutive weeks at $25 a week.
Pick up is every Tuesday or Friday at Mischa’s. We are happy to accommodate pick ups with any of your travel plans this summer, if you would like to skip a week due to travel we will credit you one bouquet that you can redeem whenever you like!
